The tombstone used for the background image is that of Christian and Mary (Wagner) Wilhelm. It is the largest monument in the cemetery and marks one of the oldest graves at Buckhart.

Christian Wilhelm and Mary Christina Wagner came to Christian County from Pennsylvania. Christian helped with the construction of the Reformed Church and both were charter members of the first congregation.

A daughter, Sabina, born 08-09-1832, married Israel Baughman 03-12-1854. More information on this couple and a photograph of their monument will be on subsequent pages.
